How to remove Windows Genuine Notification without validation

Sometimes after installing a new copy of Windows, you may receive a notification that your copy of Windows may not be genuine. This notification is designed to alert users that their software may potentially be a pirated copy of Windows.

If you constantly get Microsoft Windows Genuine Notification pop-ups to remind you that certain Windows are not genuine and you want to get rid of those pop-ups, there is something that you can do.

Step 1: Press 'Ctrl + Shift + Esc' to lunch Task Manager and click on 'Process' tab. Now search 'wgatray.exe' and click 'End Process'.

Step 2: Now restart your computer in safe mode. Press F8 until the Advanced Boot Options Menu appears. 

Step 3: Now navigate following folder path: 'C://Windows/System32', and search 'wgatray.exe' fine. Right click to delete it.

Step 4: Go through 'Start -> Run -> regedit' to open registry editor and navigate the following key -

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicrosoftWindows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify

Step 5: Now Right-click 'WgaLogon' in the 'Notify' folder and click 'Delete'. Confirm that key has been deleted. 

Now Exit from the Registry Editor and reboot your computer normally to complete the removal.

How to disable Windows 7 auto-restart after auto-update

Windows Update will remind you if you need to restart your PC to continue installing an update and give you the opportunity to 'restart now' or give you the option to postpone the restart. Have you ever think, why should you update your Windows regularly?

After installing updates in Windows operating system (Windows 7, vista, Xp), the auto-restart process start in order to apply all the updates. Despite this, Windows 7 has added option to allow users to postpone or delay the restart. The computer will still automatically restart sometime later, if the updates required system to be rebooted to finish the installation. You can also undo the Windows update.

Step 1: Click 'Start' and type 'gpedit.msc' in the search box and hit 'Enter'. It will open up 'Local Group Policy Editor'.

Step 3: Now click 'Administrative Templates' and then click 'Windows Components'. Now scroll down window and select 'Windows Update'.

Step 4: Now double click the option for 'No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic update installations'. It will appear 'Properties window'.

Step 5: Now change the option from 'Not Configured' to 'Enabled' and click 'OK'.

After all close the Local Group Policy Editor window. Now you will no longer be prompted to restart your computer after Windows installs auto-updates.

How to fix Windows 7 'Limited or No Connectivity' error

You may occasionally get an error message like 'The connection has limited or no connectivity. You might not be able to access the Internet or some network resources.' It indicates that your Windows 7 computer is having a problem trying to access your network device to connect to the Internet.

Step 1: Open Control panel on Windows 7 computer and click 'System and Security' option.

Step 2: Now select the device manager option from the 'System' tab in this window.

Step 3: Another window (Device Manager) will be appeared where all the devices are placed under their relevant categories.

Step 4: Now click and expand 'Network Adapters' that display all relevant network adapters that are used in your computer. Select Network Adapter that you use for connectivity to internet and open the properties of this adapter. Find some additional tips for how to speed-up slow internet connection.
